Assistant Buyer

Job Description:

We are seeking an Assistant Buyer to join our Merchandising team. The Assistant Buyer will be responsible for supporting the Senior Buyer to assort seasonal shop and monthly box product lines, create assortment sheets, create and track Purchase Orders. Help plan inventory flow, pricing and promotional strategies.  S/he will provide input in assortment meetings based on selling, trends and customer feedback and make recommendations to future assortments as well as be able to act quickly on ever changing variables. The Assistant Buyer will also obtain a general understanding of the buying process and develop his/her understanding of financial concepts. The right candidate will be well organized, articulate, and be comfortable with a rapidly changing environment, pressure, and short deadlines.

The Assistant Buyer will directly manage:

  • Line sheets for both online shop and subscription box assortments.
  • Purchase order process including order entry, maintenance, tracking, and receiving
  • Liaise with operations to ensure the timely delivery of merchandise
  • Finalizing and proofing box collateral and online product information
  • Samples

Requirements:

Social Media Campaign Manager

Job Description:

Citrus Lane is seeking a Social Media Marketing Manager to monitor, optimize and analyze paid and unpaid social media campaigns – primarily on Facebook. The ideal candidate has a drive to understand the platform’s ad-serving algorithms, possess a “hacker” mentality to rapidly test new approaches, and the analytical discipline to understand and optimize the program. This is an important role with the potential to make a big impact on this rapidly growing startup, as well as become an expert in one of today’s most important marketing platforms. You’ll be part of an innovative, collaborative team working in an exciting, quickly growing ecommerce/tech start up – there’s never a dull moment!

Ideal Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years in digital campaign management preferably for a consumer focused ecommerce company
  • In-depth knowledge social media platforms and how they can be used to drive acquisition, engagement and loyalty marketing objectives
  • Savvy, knowledgeable, and passionate about current social media trends, innovations and best practices
  • Experience working with creative resources to build a steady pipeline of campaigns to drive box, shop and community growth
  • Experience working with marketing, product, merchandising and customer support to ensure all campaigns are set up correctly and lead to an exceptional customer experience
  • Familiar with Facebook advertising including the use of FBX, custom audiences, look-alike populations, dark link posts, promoted posts, etc.
  • Familiar with Facebook Ads Manager and Power Editor. Familiarity with any Facebook PMD software a plus
  • Understanding of marketing and acquisition metrics including: CPA, CPL, CPC, LTV, Churn, etc
  • Experience running campaigns on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest and Google +
  • Extremely detail-oriented and methodical
  • A hard worker who can work flexible hours to adjust spend within a week or day to improve efficiency
  • Experience marketing a subscription service and/or a traditional online ecommerce shop are strong pluses

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Plan, develop and manage paid social media with main focus on Facebook
  • Manage campaigns efficiently to deliver maximum ROI
  • Structure and implement marketing tests to drive optimization (e.g., test creative, copy, audience segments, etc.)
  • Develop understanding of how paid social media impacts organic reach (# talking about, engagement rate, etc)
  • Collaborate with other members of the Marketing team to maximize marketing budget and attribution across channels (Organic Social Media, Email, Bloggers/Affiliates, etc.)
  • Strong communication skills are required. It is vital that new learnings are shared across the organization to drive smarter decisions and future growth.

Marketing - Intern

We are looking for a quantitatively-minded, creative summer intern to help us improve our social media and paid marketing campaigns. Job responsibilities include: analyzing traffic and acquisition patterns, identifying opportunities for improvement, making and implementing recommendations for increasing conversion rates, identifying and testing new sources of customers, and structuring A/B marketing tests.
